RUOnlineCon Mobile App

As a Student Mobile App Developer at Rutgers University, I was involved in the development of a Mobile app for the Online Learning Conference at Rutgers University. I developed the first version of the application in Android studio and successfully deployed in March 2018 with the assistance of the Main developer on this project.

I was primarily responsible for the development of the Android app and participated in the initial conceptualization of the designs. I also created the medium-fidelity, end to end prototypes for easier development and better communication with the clients.

The app itself (RUOnlineCon – Apps on Google Play) is a game where users can complete tasks (challenges) which require the use of the camera and they can upload photos to be moderated by admins. Once their images are approved,  the user will receive points.

The theme of the conference was “Collaborate” and the app allowed people to collaborate with each other by clicking pictures, and playing the fun game during breaks at the conference. This novel idea and the app was appreciated by many conference attendees.
